Dr. Edna does her best to engage with your child to make sure they are as comfortable as possible. If your child is nervous or unsure in new places, please bring along their favorite toy, blanket or book to provide a feeling of security and a point of conversation.
Also, if you are bringing in a child who still has naps and it is predictable, schedule for a time when they will be awake after a nap and not just before. We all get a bit grumpy when we are tired.
Dr. Edna does her best to run on time and not rush through the visit. If you are running late, or will need to reschedule your appointment, please let Dr. Edna know by calling or texting.
For best results, do the recommended therapies and exercises at home. Your child’s brain and body need good nutrition, movement and regular brain building exercises to keep it on track. The exercises recommended are specific to your child’s needs and a very important part of the daily routine.
A common complaint in infants and children after chiropractic care are stiffness and soreness, restlessness or increased crying. If any of these occur, they can be expected to last less than 24 hours after the adjustment.
We do accept health fund cards in our practice to make payment easier for you. However, any outstanding amount not covered by the health fund will be the responsibility of the patient.
